Through My Veteran Passion, this scholarship provides financial support to veterans and veteran families pursuing education, training, or career advancement — turning Jamie’s legacy into lasting opportunity, hope, and impact for those who have served.

Jamie Lyn Hoover was the daughter of a retired Marine and a passionate supporter of the veteran community. She lived with compassion, kindness, and a deep desire to help others. After her life was tragically cut short, Jamie’s selflessness did not end — through the gift of organ donation, she saved lives, giving hope to others even in her passing.
Through My Veteran Passion, this scholarship carries Jamie’s spirit forward by helping veterans and veteran families pursue education, certification, and career training. Every dollar given helps remove financial barriers and opens doors to stability, growth, and new opportunities.

Jamie’s Legacy of Life
Jamie Lyn Hoover lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and a heart for others. The daughter of a retired Marine and a dedicated supporter of the veteran community, Jaime believed deeply in helping people whenever she could.
Even after her life was tragically cut short, her selfless spirit continued to change lives.
Jamie had made the decision to become an organ donor. Through that choice, she gave the ultimate gift — the gift of life.
Because of Jamie:
- Two individuals received the gift of sight through cornea transplants
- A 32-year-old woman received her right kidney
- An 18-year-old young man received her left kidney
- A 65-year-old man received her liver
- A 63-year-old woman received her heart
- A 62-year-old woman received both of her lungs
In total, Jamie saved five lives and restored sight to two others.
Her legacy is one of extraordinary generosity — selfless in life and life-giving in her passing.
